A fire caused by lightning in the Xingu Indigenous Territory. In the picture on the left is the Toprugo Walu lagoon. The impact of the fire was devastating: the next day, the smoke irritated people's eyes. Armadillos, pacas and birds were found charred in the affected area.
En brann forårsaket av lynnedslag i Xingu urfolksterritorium. Til venstre i bildet ser vi Toprugo Walu-lagunen. Effekten av brannen var ødeleggende: Røyken irriterte folks øyne, og beltedyr, pacaer og fugler ble funnet forkullet i det berørte området.
